White Walls

I have an addiction to these faux leather leggings. Last weekend, my sister staged an intervention when I wore them to a hole-in-the-wall bagel shop two minutes from my apartment… around 8AM… at a place where customers typically toss on some iteration of a Princeton University sweatshirt and unsightly sweatpants.

The texture and tapered fit work well with any top, especially my standard white tee. They’re also perfect when I want to show off heels with ankle straps, which will be happening a lot this spring. As a side note, the pumps I’m wearing are no longer available, but I came across these similar, Rockstud-esque Sam Edelman’s yesterday and almost jumped for joy. They’re a shoe-in for Valentino—pun intended—without the absurd price tag.

  1. Love the look, Lana! And I agree, faux-leather leggings are addicting. I was absolutely against pairing navy and black for the longest time, but lately it’s growing on me. How do you feel about the combo?

    • Hi Hallie! I love navy and black. I think the two colors look great together as long as the pairing is broken apart by a little something like the patterned shirt I’m wearing. It’s one of my favorite combos because I’m constantly in blue jeans and a black tee :).
