Choosing an outfit gets complicated when the weather shifts. One day it’s chilly, the next it’s nearly 70 degrees. Since the forecast keeps changing, I wanted to highlight some of my favorite staples that can help you transition from winter to spring.
This oversized shirt from Madewell is one of the comfiest items in my closet. I find myself reaching for it constantly and love the oversized silhouette, small collar and clean black and white buffalo check.
I already raved about these Topshop ‘Joni’ skinnies and don’t know what I did without them. I can’t emphasize enough how soft, comfortable and flattering they are. The petite version is perfect for me—no hemming needed!—but they come in regular as well.
High-waisted jeans have an elongating effect that makes everything look better in my opinion. This pair provides endless versatility with what tops I can wear (ideal for every season!).
Low ankle boots work year-round, so don’t pack yours away for spring and summer. These Dune London ‘Preslee’ boots were my go-to shoe this winter, but I plan on styling them with ripped shorts, skirts and flowy dresses galore when the weather’s warmer. They’re outrageously comfortable and on sale!
Madewell oversized shirt (wearing size XS; similar style here), Topshop moto ‘Joni’ jeans (they come in regular and petite; I own them in blue and black as well!), Dune London ‘Preslee’ boots (on sale!), A.J. Morgan ‘Felix’ matte club master sunnies (only $20!) and Moda Luxe clutch (similar style here).
