I don’t know what’s fueling my obsession with burgundy, but I loved this coat when I saw it. It’s a splurge—pure wool and impeccable craftsmanship—so I found a look for less that’s worth checking out. A girl’s gotta have options.
The jeans by Madewell are my favorite. I can’t recommend them enough. The flare is the perfect width, the high-rise is great for casually tucking in tees and sweaters, and the slimming dark wash can be dressed up or down. They run true-to-size, but they stretch, so I’d recommend ordering one size smaller than usual. Oh, and they’re currently 20% off! Don’t you love holiday sales?
The lunchbag-style crossbody (how cute?) is a mere $38, and the striped sweater from Zara has ‘winter staple’ written all over it.

I went into shopping beast mode when I saw this dress at Zara. My eyes landed on it, and within seconds I was sprinting to the fitting room, sleeved maxi in hand. The Victorian vibe and pleated texture are everything. A true standout in a store always brimming with amazing things.
Don’t shy away from a sleeved maxi in fear of looking too “fancy”. They’re great for holiday parties, yes, but they can be toned down during winter for work, dinner or drinks with a faux-fur vest, a leather jacket, or a slouchy cropped sweater thrown on top with casual ankle boots (I suggest my favorite pair by Dune London—they run true-to-size).
Can we talk about how pretty the pronounced shoulder is? Such an interesting detail.
Zara maxi dress (wearing a size small), vintage faux-fur jacket (similar style here), Ray-Ban aviators (20% off!), vintage gold chain (similar style here), American Apparel cross-back bra, Phase 3 clutch (similar style here) and Nine West pumps (similar style here).
You can find other sleeved maxis I recommend here, here and here.

Second to pumpkin spice, cozy sweaters might be the best thing about fall. This season, designers are taking knits to the next level with eye-catching texture in the form of braids, fringe, loop and herringbone stitching, jacquard patterns, deep ribbing, the list goes on.
I love the fresh feel, and my favorite is the UNIF ‘Omen’ design bottom left (it comes in black too!). The fringed style top left is slightly out there—OK, it’s really out there—but I’m a huge fan of that one as well.
