Earlier this week, I learned about an incredible design collaboration Nine West did with InStyle. The ‘Cate’ pump bottom left (one of my favorite shoes from the collection) comes in lots of different materials and colors, but the leopard pony-hair version would make for an amazing fall staple.
I’m always playing with pattern, and over time I’ve found that sticking to neutrals is the easiest way to do it. Although leopard is loud, I consider it a “fun” neutral: something that matches most anything but stands out on its own. I like how the pump contrasts but complements the neutral polka dots on this Topshop midi skirt that’s brand new for next season.
As usual, just click on each item above to shop it. Wishing you a happy Friday and a relaxing weekend!
I love not only playing with proportion with a voluminous skirt, but pairing something edgy and hard with something feminine and soft. This snake-embossed top is one of my staples. I wear it constantly because it’s simple to dress up or dress down, and it’s a great transitional piece that will carry me from summer into fall. I’m also looking forward to styling this tea-length skirt with a slouchy sweater when it’s cold. It’s another perfect example of an item that can be worn as the weather shifts.
These photos were shot in Bryant Park, my oasis in midtown when I’m in the city for meetings. The park has amazing energy in the summer (it’s one of my favorite places to grab lunch and people watch), so I was psyched to shoot an outfit post with it as my beautiful backdrop.
Aqua faux-leather crop top (similar style here and here), MADE floral skirt (similar style here and here), Beach Riot sunnies, Stuart Weitzman sandals, Timex watch, Rebecca Minkoff studded backpack (similar style here), pavé bar ring by an unnamed designer and pavé pinky ring (my own design).

When it comes to swimwear, there’s nothing chicer than a black bikini. Multiply that statement by a million when one’s made to look like leather. The TRIANGL suit below is one of the best additions I’ve made to my beach wardrobe all summer. I wear it constantly, and it’s survived more ocean sessions that I can count.
TRIANGL is making their mark with adorable swimsuits at an affordable price point. Most of their designs are only $79 total (really!), so they’re more than worth checking out. Each of their bikinis also comes in a convenient backpack that matches the material of whatever suit you order, which is another special thing that sets this brand apart.
