Wilfred is one of my favorite clothing brands, and this floral romper has been on my radar for a while. It just went on sale, so I had to spotlight it. The hazy pattern was the selling point for me because it would adopt a beautiful, airy feel by day and a fancy feel for night. The back is also fabulous.
I think every girl needs a bucket bag and liked how the grommets on the Zara design bottom right edge it up. I tend to carry everything in my purse, so it’s nice to have a few smaller styles that force me to be selective with how many mini cans of hairspray I can bring out with me.
I’m loving all things chevron for summer, and the pavé ring set top left is on my wish list. It’s only $28 and comes in a great gold version too.

Now for a quick press update. Remember this Instagram? A few months back I was honored to serve as Glamour’s style ambassador for Pantene’s Head-to-Head Hair Challenge against two amazing ladies from Lucky and Teen Vogue. We each gave step-by-step tutorials on how to re-create our magazine’s take on a popular hair trend, and both videos are below.
The two styles I’m wearing are personal favorites (if you keep up with my blog, you know I’m all about garland braids and dramatic side parts). They’re also great in the summer when hair is damp from swimming or needs to be swept back for nights out. Enjoy!

I love all black everything as much as the next New Jerseyan, but it’s prime time for color. Because of that, I’ve been brainstorming interesting ways to play with brights. Creating a monochromatic outfit and adding pops of color with bold accessories is something I’ve been trying a lot lately. People often think color stops at your shoes, jewelry or bag, but sunglasses can be a key part of the equation.
Your monochromatic outfit doesn’t have to be dark. You can work solid white with this tailored Topshop jumpsuit, style a bright-red romper, or go for all denim with a chambray shirt and my favorite high-waisted cutoffs (I wear these shorts in a size small). Whatever you prefer as your base, adding vibrant accessories to the mix is sure to garner attention. Plus, a monochromatic outfit is ideal if you want to spotlight one extra-special item.
As a sidenote, I’m loving BaubleBar’s latest collection of affordable jewelry! That’s where the hammered rings above are from.
